I haven't been posting, but I have been crafting!  School is finally over so maybe I will get to this more often.  Here goes one massive post summarizing what I have been up to.  I got a Cricut for my birthday so I have been putting that to good use.  I made a few bridal shower gifts and plaques for my mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law for Mother's day.  All were made using SCAL.

These are the temples my mother-in-law's children were married in. (Salt Lake, St. Louis, Oklahoma City, and DC)

I am also co-hosting a bridal shower for my sister-in-law so I did invitations in her colors.  These were really simple but I love the way they turned out!

The last thing I have been working on is a work in progress.  I completed a quilt top but have yet to quilt it.  It just seems like such a difficult task.  I will get there...

Hopefully there will be more projects to post shortly.  I have started a few others, but will save them until they are done =)

Happy Crafting!

Ok I got in some crafting this weekend.  I found a tutorial for the cutest car caddy over at homemade by jill and a tutorial for the cutest baby shoes at homespun threads.  Here is what I came up with!

I won't bother posting a tutorial because there is already a fabulous one at homemade by jill.  The only change I made was instead of spray painting numbers on the pockets I cut out felt numbers in colors matching the cars I bought.  This project was super easy and fun!

These are the baby shoes.  I made the blue ones first and if you notice the wraps are going the same way.  They are supposed to go in opposite directions but I didn't notice until I was done and was too lazy to fix it.  Didn't bother me that much.

Hi! I'm Melanie.  A craft addict whose time is tragically restricted by school.  My husband Andrew got this site for me for Christmas and unfortunately I haven't done anything with it until now.  I won't make any big promises.  I am currently mostly a copy-cat crafter, but am trying to branch out and create on my own.  Check back to see my latest projects.
